Nature of the Site

Berrien County Released Inmates is an independent reference with no government affiliation. It does not hold official jail, court, release, parole, probation, or corrections records. We cannot verify custody, order or carry out a release, post bond, or submit a government filing for a visitor.

The site points to official resources such as the Berrien County released-inclusive jail lookup, county records channels, and Michigan corrections systems. Government records remain subject to the rules and exemptions of their custodians, including the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, MCL 15.231 et seq. Some pages also connect visitors to independent research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Do not use the site in violation of any law.
• Do not use information to stalk, threaten, or harass another person.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.

• A decision to hire, retain, promote, or dismiss a worker
• Tenant selection or any other housing decision

Michigan Governing Law

Michigan law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction within the State of Michigan.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
